Our journey began in the vibrant streets of India, inspired by the irresistible aromas, bold spices, and authentic flavors of Indian street food.
From humble beginnings in a small kitchen, our passion grew into a dream: to bring the true taste and spirit of Indian street food to Sri Lanka.
Today, we blend traditional Indian recipes with the fresh, vibrant character of Sri Lankan cuisine, creating food that is full of flavor, warmth, and nostalgia.

Today Indico lives on Level 3 of the Mailbox, with artwork made specially for the room, Bollywood on the walls and a kitchen that cooks the way the roadside does: fresh every day, to order, served as soon as it's ready. Along the way came a cookbook, a spice range and a cocktail list with Spirits of Anarchy. In 2026 the menu took its longest journey yet, from India to Sri Lanka.
